The Good Things That Will Happen If Mr. X Becomes the 'Great Leader'

The Cut-Throat Suck-Up

Have you ever met a cut-throat suck-up? Well I have.

You see, when we need something, we usually work towards attaining that something. Some people work harder and prove themselves worthy of that goal. Others just turn into suck-ups.

Mr. X (as in Under the Sea, Under the Sea!), is a normal worker. Average at best, he has been working for Company A for almost four years now. He  doesnt have any special skills. He's a virgin. He rides with the success of his officemates. He easily gives up. He uses others to make himself look successful (even his so-called girl friend).

Mr. X, had a great opportunity, a group of senior leaders are about to retire, and he found himself in a situation where he could finally climb up the corporate ladder. So what does he do? He suck-ups to do the bosses.

One time, he joined a group of people for a dinner. One of those with them was Mr. C. Mr. C is one of Mr. X's closest friends and they've been through a lot. Unlike Mr. X. though, Mr. C. is very successful, during his first year, he received numerous awards for his hard-work. Mr. X was of course envious, so behind Mr. Cs back, he talked about all his past misdeeds. Mr. C, never knew. Anyway, during the dinner, Mr. C asked a sensitive question in which no one could answer. They set it aside and chose to forget it. Mr. X had another plan. He immediately called the Boss, and then all hell broke lose.  One of the senior leaders came under fire. Ladies and gentlemen, he found his special skill.

During a momentous event, he easily gave up on a project. Although the rest of his officemates managed to make the event a success, he just ran out of breath and gave up. And to think, one of his officemate was handicapped and was the one who was most likely to run out of breath because of his vices -- of all people, it was Mr. X who gave up. The next thing people saw, was Mr. X sucking up to the boss. Making an excuse on what happened to him. What a way to climb the corporate ladder.

Mr. X. aspires for something that requires talent, patience, and a good command of people. None of which he has. His other officemates are much more worthy to claim the spot. and if you may, I'd like to do a comparison of those who are considered for the position.

Now its a matter of choice for the bosses, although the office is not a democracy, the success of a great team is a reflection of how well the leader manages them. Kudos to my good friend, the Senior Leader for the past 2 years.

I do this because Mr. X cost me a lot of money. Mr. X. also back-stabs me and my closest friends. He did so in his secret-blog. Too bad for him I found out. The internet is my world.

He back-stabbed my best friend saying he was too mayabang and thus he had to unleash his super-super-duper power just to beat him up. Well, he is mayabang (Hello Pancit Nanaman!) sometimes, but at least he has something to back up his kayabangan. Oh, the beat-him-up threat didnt happen. Mr. Mayabang just kicked his ass. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
